I lol'd :)

This animation was really different, but in a good way!

I really liked the story, and the vocals/ sound effects were actually recorded with rather good quality. The animation was good, but not the best; I really would have liked to see a bit more fluid motions during the "monster battle", and a few other parts. aside from that, I also really enjoyed the originality of the story... I did not expect that ending haha. :)

Things to take a second look at:
- Things could have been a bit more fluid animation-wise, but you're really on to something with this style
- The exchange of dialogue seemed like it could have moved a little faster (I felt like I spent just a little bit too long waiting to hear each characters lines to come out)

Overall you've got some talent, and I expect to see some amazing work from you in the near future :]

ManNSmkyRoom responds:

Well, thank you. Yes, I feel the dialogue moves a little slow in some parts too. I did that on purpose, but now watching it back, I think I may have spaced it out just a little much.

Not too shabby

I really enjoyed the sprite animation here, very fluid and nice looking. :)
The menus, The navigation, and overall layout of this flash also looked wonderful.
I also really enjoyed hearing the different spectrum of voices used for each character. Generally speaking, this flash animation was pretty flawless.

Things to take a second look at:
- Some of the dialog was rather bland, and I didn't find much of the humor to be very great :(
- The story was a tad confusing, but maybe that's just me (I haven't seen the rest of the series after all)

Overall; pretty great effort, but could use some polishing up imo

Woah!

This was incredible!

The concepts in the comic really, I mean REALLY, took me by surprise!
I never expected the story to get so crazy, twisted, and good! :D

The menu/ navigation/ layout of the whole flash looks wonderful, and I really enjoyed the "cut-scene" like parts at the beginning/ end of this flash.

The artwork was wonderfully unique, and the broad spectrum of bright to dark tones/ colors looked extraordinary! I also really liked how you worked words into the background images of this comic as well; very interesting!

Overall I don't think I would change a single thing about this.
You have some real talent, and do some really great looking/ deep work
I'm definitely a new fan ;)

Not to shabby.

For your first submission, this seems pretty solid!
The lip-syncing seems to be pretty well done, the artwork is decent, and everything seems to flow rather well!

This piece isn't horrible, but it isn't a work of art either; The crude characters, mediocre comedy, and poor storyboarding made this hard to enjoy :(

Things to take a second look at:
- Lack of clarity in the audio made this submission difficult to understand (Haggard's suggestion of subtitles was actually a really great one)
- Crude character design can really contribute to the comedic value of your work (take South Park for example), but you should really focus on your camera angles/ character movement more

Overall solid effort, but could use something more

ManNSmkyRoom responds:

Thanks for watching, think I may have fixed the audio. Fingers crossed!

I lol'd :D

Supercow & Captain Walrus are an interesting pair, and their dialogue was pretty priceless.

The animation itself wasn't super stunning, but I definitely enjoyed what you've done here; The story stays on focus, the scene to scene transitions seem pretty well done, and overall I found this to be pretty reminiscent of an Adult-Swim Spoof on old Saturday morning cartoons.

Things I would have fixed:
- The volume levels on your audio seem to jump around a lot
- were you supposed to give credit for the Digi-mon music?...

Overall; Good effort

Very interesting! :D

Although some elements of this animation did seem rather childish, I really enjoyed this piece! The 3-D planet was probably the most visually impressive thing to me; I loved how smoothly the background panned along as the 2-D characters moved across the landscape, and the 3-D alien guy was pretty cool as well.

Things I would have changed:
- The edges of most everything in this flash have a rough, nasty look to them
- The 2-D people could have used a little more movement

Besides that though; This is an awesome effort!

Carr77 responds:

Yeah, I know, the 2D people are a bit stiff ;)
Thanks!

Interesting take on the madness series :D

I loved your take on the original madness character, and the incorporation of the old school madness boom-box was awesome! :D The music you picked for this animation was also a huge plus imo. Boom-Box + Gun = Win.

Things to look at:
- The broken boom-box part seemed like it was slightly underdone; I didn't really understand what happened here until the second watch through.
- The insane camera motion kinda through me off during a couple parts

Besides those things though; I really enjoyed this, and I can't wait to see your next project Nicholas!

Great effort, but lacking in detail.

A few things majorly stood out to me in this animation. I loved how fluid the "Kill the sheriff" scene looked, I really started to feel like the animation was starting to pick-up at this point. The Back-Flip animation that followed was equally great, and I really started to get into this! After that clip though, I started to see what I feel might have been a bit of laziness peaking through...

Things I would have focused on a little more:
- The vocal work in this was pretty muddy sounding, and overall really quiet compared to the other audio
- A lot of the other audio effects were also kinda loud, and harsh on the ears
- Did he finish all of the achievements?
- The story was somewhat hard to follow; the list in the beginning moved by really fast, and I found it hard to understand where the story was going.

Overall; great effort, but try to focus more on little details in the future.
You obviously have some great skills, but you just need to spend more time honing in on the little things.

Deathisawesome responds:

Actually, the sheriff and backflip part is where I spent most of my time, I would have done the same on everything else but ran out of time :/

Yeah, I'll spend much more time on AM2, don't worry :)

This is great!!

I really enjoyed this flash animation a lot, very captivating! :D

The fluid transitions from thing to thing were incredible to watch, and I can't even imagine how long this took to put together. It was also really interesting to see how you all worked off of each others contributions considering everyone's pretty "obviously different" talent levels; despite all that however, it seems that you all did a tremendous job here!

My only major complaints:
- I didn't like that the last part had no music, and how the different music just randomly kicked back in for the credits.
- Only daily 4th huh? Guess you must have picked a bad day to upload or something (cause this is pretty awesome)

Great work everyone! I cannot wait to see next year's Sketch Collab!
