Very sick!

Right off the bat I love the driving bass, drum samples, and backing melody; the drums sound great, and do I hear some 8-bit percs/ elements in there as well? awesome :p
I also really enjoyed the awesome industrial-house beat behind this, incredible work.

My only issue with this song is the lead that comes in at 19 seconds, It seems a tad "bogged-down" by all of the other sounds around it; makes everything sound kinda busy.

Besides that, this track is a monster... and if you were going for industrial-House; you've made a tremendous effort!

Great Work!

It's reviews like this that make me feel like making more music ^^ Thanks you very much :)
One of the things ive been trying to improve on lately is my mixing / mastering; so you're definately giving some great advice! I'll try to make my new tracks even more epic than this one :D

Solid work!... could use some adjustments though

This song Is cool, and does remind me of a really simple "Caveman-rave" beat; so I give you credit there, but there are a few things here that need a lot more attention.

This song has little-to-no automation clips, is composed of only preset "saw-samples", and has only one lazy house beat.

A lot of people say that house and techno music Is lazy, but composing true house gems takes time.

This song bro... is lazy, and I hate to sound like such a hater...
but I know you can do better. Practice a little bit, and feel free to hit me up for a review/ advice anytime. You obviously are using fl haha :p

Coolio.

I really enjoyed the technologic beep sounds, and the drums in this one. The drums sound pretty clean, and have a good groove to them. The melodies, and instruments here all sound very nice... except for in a couple places.

The bass sample @ 38 Seconds is too loud or has too much low end to it.... cause ow my ears x.x. The piano that comes in after plays a great melody, but I definitely recommend changing the sample there as well.

Overall this song is pretty solid; just needs a few tweeks :).
Great Effort!

Cool Groove!

This is pretty shweet; I really enjoyed the beginning.
The slow fade in from the instruments at 0:06 and 0:25 sounds great!
The ambiance of everything in this track is pretty cool, and all of your Instruments seem to fit pretty nicely together.

After a Couple minutes of listening to this, It became pretty obvious that your drums here are just a nice-sounding loop... and you only changed up the beat once... at the very end. So that knocked a star off right away (try not to use loops unless they are layered and change). I was pretty disappointed to not hear a break-down in this song as well. Don't be afraid to change it up!

All in all, this is solid... but needs work
Great effort!

BuggMusic responds:

Thanks for the review! This is difficult to talk about, because you can't respond to this, but I didn't actually use a loop for the drums, I layered them completely by myself (no loops at all were used actually). It didn't really occur to me to make a breakdown, it didn't really seem appropriate for the song, maybe I'll could give it a try in anything else I make within this genre.

Epic!!

This totally reminds me of something that you would hear in like Halo or M.G.S. Incredible Work Steph!

Love the orchestral elements of this song sooo much dude; The Strings and piano fit together beautifully.
I also really like the dynamics behind this song, and the driving drum rhythm that breaks in completely tops it off.
The mastering sounds brilliant AF... what can I say?...
except this track is a masterpiece!

Amazing work bro

Wow thanks! Really glad you like so many different things in this song. I'm also surprised you compared this to MGS soundtrack, because I've always loved that soundtrack :P.

Thanks a lot for the review!

Almost there!

Most of the groves in this song are sick, and I reallyreallyreally dig the builds/ drops. The overall composition of this track is impressive :p...
What it sounds like it needs... Is better mastering

The Bass you've made here is powerful, and loud... but in a bad way.
It sounds very muddy and has too much high end.

You want something that sounds Dirty and fierce :p
Try layering your basses and EQing things up :p

Overall
Good Effort!

Thanks sonik! I appreciate the advice; I've taken it to heart, and I've been practicing mastering with some of my newer tracks, and they do sound a lot more balanced. If i keep practicing maybe one day i'll be as popular as you ;) Thanks again!

Chill

I really like what you've done with the glitches here; especially during the intro.
The pianos have a nice driving beat that sounds really nice, and the drums generally complement everything else pretty nicely.

I don't so much love all the drum samples, and couple of the transitions in this mix are kind of "Stop & Go".
By no means is this song bad; It's just hella different I guess.

Great Work!

Cool beans, but there are a lot of preset samples

I liked the rhythm and how you changed it up a lot, but a lot of this song sounds very jumbled x.x

The melodies don't really sound too terrific, and are slightly repetitive; A few things could be changed for the better here.

Write a more "Melodic" melody, that follows a cool note scale; build your song with more structure from the beginning, and you wont end up with jumbled spots like this.

Good effort buddy, keep at it!

Soundscapey

And that's cool, cause I really dig stuff like that :P...

This submission is pretty cool, and also very creepy x.x
The vocal work in this is pretty dope, and the instrumentation is very unique.

The transitions in this song aren't quite as smooth and chilling as the instruments themselves though, maybe work some kind of drums into this and echo effects to help bridge a transition together?

Just an idea :P

Great Effort!

SoulSecure responds:

Well, the sudden halting and commencement of the different parts was intentional.

Bullets fly fast, but thoughts fly faster.

Solid Work

The Guitar work was pretty sick, but could have used a little bit more EQ and vol.
Most of this song is really good actually, but the mastering seems kind of off.
I really liked the instrumentation in this song, and kinda felt the vocals.

Changes I would make:
- Better Drum Kit
- Make guitar louder
- Make bass louder
- Do a few more vocal takes or something x.x;

Don't get me wrong; this has potential!

Great Effort
